Mod Squad

Mod Squad is the title of a Mod-only board. Moderators are to prioritize the board for any regular board managements.

The board, all of its contents, and any confidential information were meant to be secret but due to a glitch, several screen captures has been taken by users and posted publicly. Lord_Auric speculates that the screens were taken on 1/13/07.

"Don't go second guessing-guessing another mods and unbanning a user before his ban time is up just because you don't agree with the reason. This makes the mod team ineffective and makes users think they can get out of anything if they go to another moderator.

If you don't agree with a ban, talk to a moderator who gave the original ban about your concerns in a Private Message. If that doesn't resolve it and you still think the ban is too harsh and not necessary, contact Teddy and he will evaluate the situation" - Teddy Modzi Pierson

This passage is completely illogical and is the same logic that many dictators used to control their people, led to things like the holocaust, brutal Japanese Imperialism and mass bureaucratic inefficiency. Teddy has claimed that second guessing and independent actions create an ineffective mod team. I would like to question where Teddy has acquired this wisdom because from my experience in the Canadian Army as a rifleman in a combat battalion twice deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, he is terribly wrong. In my line of work the independent action was key to completion of the mission and survival. The person who was best in the best position to judge a situation (you) was given the final say. Are you really that unsure of your own sense of justice that you are not able to do what is right when action calls and as each moment passes the injustice becomes greater and greater?

Teddy has also instructed you to talk to the moderator who gave the original ban through a PM. This is like a prison guard not letting a prisoner he knows is innocent be locked up for years as an inefficient, slow court, deliberates, stealing years from the mans life, just so he won't be slapped on the wrist for making a "mistake" and letting him go. Truly selfish. Why did you become an IGN mod? Was it for the free insider? The power? Or was it to do your part in making IGN as enjoyable as possible for every user? It certainly seems like the the former two because any person with good morals would fight to help the people unjustly banned by the Teddy's cruel Modzi Regime.
